Reason (no specs from manufacturer, really new hardware, etc): Does not work with the aacraid driver present in 2.6 series Kernels, random crashes will occur under heavy IO load. There are many entries on the DELL linux email list about this. Kernel 2.4 with the aacraid 1.1-3 driver works OK but it is very slow for hardware RAID.
