C5150

Hardware That Doesn't Work with Linux

Manufacturer: Oki

Model number: C5150

Reason: It uses a proprietary printer language, and doesn’t support postscript.

Functionality (from 0 to 100% of full functionality): 0%

Notes: It’s a great, inexpensive printer. I just wish it came with a driver for Linux.

Comments (this is where other people comment on the entry):

Unfortunately OKI seems to want to shun the linux community. This is unfortunate, we are growing daily and linux adoption in the corporate world is exploding! A driver is not what is needed… standards compliance is needed!
