This appears partially true. Important remains setting up the BIOS correctly, for usage of the internal sound processors, USB modes (!) and other facilities. In my case I can boot Wolvix Hunter, PCLOS 2007 and 2008 Gnome, Linux Mint without any disturbances. I can’t however write to the USB Flash Card for having “no permission for the file system” (ro) and provided I hadn’t VISTA could arrange for that with various tools. I can’t figure out why this board wouldn’t boot in my case having the card up when initializing. My board does boot though. I run Vista triple booting with the mentionned Linux distros.
